Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team on projects in Wiltshire, Berkshire and Hampshire. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and the ability to work on diverse residential projects. The Carpenter will be responsible for all aspects of carpentry such as first & second fix, on site joinery, fitting off site joinery. Roofing would be useful but not essential. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Construct, install, and repair structures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard.
- Perform joinery tasks to create custom furniture or fixtures as required.
- Assemble and install cabinets, shelves, doors, and windows.
- Roofing experience useful but not essential.
- Use power tools safely and effectively for various carpentry tasks.
- Fabricate wooden structures according to specifications and plans.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site to ensure project completion.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Carpenter is essential.
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools safely.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with carpentry work.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
PAYE or Self-Employed considered.

Pay dependent on experience
